Brewed to the same recipe for 30 years; A balance of malt & hops with a bitter sweet aftertaste.

English Porter ( ABV: 5% )

A dark, full bodied & powerful Ale; Spicy berry notes give way to a sweet smooth finish.

Vaults Haze

Session pale ( ABV: 4.4% )

A series of session hazy pales using a selection of different hops each brew

Come & see how the beer is made

The brand new 2.5BBL microbrewery is positioned in the heart of the pub on display for all to see and learn how the beer is made. Head brewer and member of the family, Simon Morgan (formerly of Shardlow Brewery) is now at the helm brewing fine quality traditional ales.

 

Our four core beers available by the pint (And occasionally in a bottle) are Reverend 4.5% at ABV, Vaults Gold at 4.2% ABV, Vaults Haze at 4.4% ABV and Vaults Dark at 5% ABV.

Morgan Brewmasters

Simple yet high-quality brews

Situated in the heart of the pub on display for all to see is our 2.5BBL brewing plant. Operating under the name ‘Morgan Brewmasters’ Our vessels are all oak clad and the brewery is tastefully enclosed behind glass partitions allowing our customers to watch the brews unfold and soak up the sights and smells of a working brewery.

 

 

Our head brewer and co-owner, Simon Morgan has had over 20 years of experience in the brewing industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Our ethos at Morgan Brewmasters is to specialise in brewing simple yet high-quality brews as well as an ever-growing selection of brews in collaboration with local produce suppliers.

 

All of our beers are sold exclusively on-site at The Spirit Vaults on draught but can also be found in local bottle shops in the surrounding area.
